i say the business case for small investors who want to see sandpiper up and running as soon as possible, the mak bid is pretty compelling, there aren't alot of reasons not to have the project under one entity.
also thinking that if mak can get two decent phosphate projects, then nmdc/lcy might look to buy half of mak and organise funding? would seem like a good idea and fit with nmdc model to have particular entity specialising in a particular resource.
