Victoria Gold successfully are developing their project successfully as a junior. Gold opens up many more options for project financing than is available for battery minerals, so financing the project is feasible. Another alternative is to go down the JV route as Gold Road Resources have done.
There are also numerous examples in North and South America of large open-pit gold operations with grades in the 0.28g/t to 1.2g/t ballpark. The company frequently refers to them in announcements.
ASX investors just aren't as familiar with these very large projects, that can actually have very attractive and competitive economics.
