Now if they target these grades at depth, they will maximise contained lithium. Best to chase the material at 1.5%+, provided the widths are suitable for underground mining. Horizontal widths of 10m to 15m are apparently perfectly suitable for underground mining.
I've annotated some figures from the Maiden JORC. Step-out holes effectively hit the resource at greater depths.

Recall that the exploration target in addition to the 6.38Mt @ 1.38% in the JORC is an additional 3Mt to 7Mt @ 1.3% to 1.5%.
