Most corporations IT is secure, with architects and IT leadership deciding what applications are allowed on their desktops and laptops, and then the new apps have to be tested, piloted etc.
To be a viable answer to any reasonable sized companies comms requirements, Thred has to be a part of the tender process and aggressively push itself into an already crowded market.
If they are doing this then that would be very good news... but we would also see signs of it.
Forget the idea of thred being a player in the corporate comms market, their best chance of users is in the social/private market.
I dont know much about mobile apps, social media and tech but I am an experienced service management consultant for one of the world's largest IT consultancy firms so I know about the requirements to get an application into the corporate world.
Lync/Skype for business, IBM Sametime, Webex plus a hundred smaller players are all over that space.
