In saying this, the rest of the core is looking fresh as a daisy so exposure to the secondary supergene zone overhead has been minimal. The fresh looking chalcopyrite can attest to that.
If those pits were originally primary copper sulphides, the increase in grade with depth of the pipes looks promising. Between hole 24 and the breccia pipes I have a renewed positive outlook that it will be found somewhere in between.

I’m no geologist but can someone explain how you end up with rounded clasts in a magmatic breccia? Given the sedimentary association are we sure these breccia zones aren’t actually conglomerate horizons? Just can’t get my head around the rounded clasts thing.Esh
