The other thing to consider when questioning the SP reaction to an announcement is what's already happened prior to it.
Eg. DXN rose from 15c to 22c in the lead up to the Ann. Maybe some anticipation, maybe a news leak. That's almost a 50% gain, anticipation of an expected Ann can quite often have a greater affect than the Ann itself.
