I think you are basing your $2k (assuming AUD$2k) off the updated Abujar LOM figures announced last year (9 years x 170kpa @ US$982oz)
If TIE is moving more dirt and the grade has remained the same AISC will rise
I'm working off an AISC of US$1,350 - $1,400 for Q1CY24 with Au spot at US$2,400 so ~US$1k margin ... again, nothing to sneeze at
IMO, if the AISC was reasonable/decent TIE would have mentioned it in their announcement earlier this week
We'll have a better idea of what's going on with the updated 2024 guidance
Just hope TIE doesn't delay it and release it sometime during May
