I know the new COO Clinton Bennett quite well. I worked for him in Burkina Faso at the Bissa project ( and in Indonesia before that)
He is very technically competent and driven, an Australian, speaks good French as well , and has been working in West Africa for many years so I believe the appointment bodes well for Tietto. Prior to Tietto he was working with the Endeavour group as their Head of Metallurgy.
And he and Matt Wilcox have worked together previously , with success.
So I think we are in good hands.
