While I agree that Caigen stepping back and handing the baton onto Matt was the right thing to do, to get the model within 8% of the tight grade control number is pretty impressive given the nuggety nature of the resource. What I am unhappy about is Matt saying just a month ago that the wet season was not going to be a problem and that the grade control was reconciling with the resource model. This was an entirely self-inflicted mistake. Just tell us the truth and tell us often.

About a month back I was listening to the TIE presentation from D&D 2022, delivered by Mark. He must have said “we’re just getting started” almost 7-8 times, it felt a bit too forced. Matt however seems credible to me.
