Are you saying they shouldn't be signing up new vendors? I would have thought a budget airline would be a complementary vendor to a service like Zip. My logic tells me that the market using Tiger is the market more likely to lay-by a cost of a couple hundred dollars via Zip (or similar) compared to a demographic more inclined to use a more expensive airline, as these folks likely don't have the cash on hand and are looking to save through the use of a budget airline - compared to, say, Qantas. Sure, Zip would probably like to scoop the whole airline market - I think that bits true. They're clearly not there yet I like a bit of cynicism, but seems your opinions and assumptions are coming across as facts in your comments. I'd like to see some corroboration of your statement on the fee structure between Tiger and Zip, as it'd be interesting to know. What you said has a chance of being correct but perhaps was sentiment driven also.
