reviewing news on GNE yesterday - NZ South Island RioTinto smelter closing down... will likely result in some depression of spot market for that island... expected to not impact North Island pricing... TLT has 400mW of capacity in development on South island - 36Mw currently operational there.
May have some impact on profit for them as market rediscovers normal loads / generation requirements working forward.
Strange - If you come across to IFT - we need to get a discussion going on how to get TLT to get some batteries installed (currently no battery storage)... such success with IFN in this regard (not that we had anything to do with it )
