Is there any reason why the DES wouldn't let us touch the Shepherd's Gully dump?
It is the largest by far on a tonnage basis and therefore one would assume is a significant contributor to the environmental legacy?
The DES has listed 'boxes' to tick when assessing an EA amendment application, one of which is a 'significant increase in the scale of activities'.
Whilst the inclusion of Shepherds Gully is significant on a tonnage basis, the fact it is included only benefits the environmental cleanup?
This box was ticked as a matter of process and forced a major amendment which is a major buying opportunity IMHO.
It'll be locked away by late April and I cannot see why they wouldn't want it touched?
