I agree with almost all here, this is a very good announcement, sure they are only rock chip samples, not drill results, but out of the 54 samples taken, 54 of them contained Cobalt.. So a quick check of the strike rate,, and ,, we got a 100% strike rate. I'm no expert on these things but I would think that is a bloody sign that the Cobalt is very likely there.
Early days for sure, they need to find it in a drill hole before the market will really take notice IMO. Bring in Olavo Caramori Borges is also a great move. He is ex Anglo and now works for LTDA, he knows the area, this is right up his ally. Check out his Linkedin profile....

The link below is to a recent article about money Vale has, or will, raise to expand it's Cobalt mine in Canada. The interesting point is how the funding will work, it will be a streaming set up, not dissimilar to our own. As it mentions in the article, this sort of financing has historically been reserved for precious metals, gold and silver. This suggests to me that although the price of Cobalt has rocketed over the past few years, the ride is far from over.

Another point is in the regard to the supply of Cobalt going forward. This is a paragraph form Investing News..
"According to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, the total supply needed to meet demand for all cobalt uses next year will be 105,000 tonnes. However, more than 50 percent of the world’s supply comes from the DRC, a politically unstable country where mining has been linked to child labor."
I did not realise that much of the worlds Cobalt came from the DRC, but I bet out MD Jeremy did. Having other more stable country's to feed the worlds increasing demand for Cobalt will be a priority for battery manufactures for sure. Here is the link to the site if anyone would like to have a look, not a very long article but worth the read.
