I think the 4.33m MAU is a bit misleading. I think Tinybeans is now more of a media company since they acquired Red Tricycle (based on disproportionate ad revenue) so they are probably counting website visitors/traffic # in the MAU, as that is what they are selling to advertisers.

I agree the paid subscribers is low, but given the Android app had to be pulled and the app store reviews are still bad, I can't see them making much of an effort to onboard new paid users until all those problems are fixed.

I agree that FamilyAlbum has a strong product and they seem to care about user satisfaction. They continually add features that enhance the user experience. Tinybeans is now charging for the app, which has a bunch of glitches right now and content that no one seems to want, collecting tons of data on users (compare TNY app privacy versus FamilyAlbum in app store) and selling it to advertisers. So if you paid for a subscription, you are still forced to see ads. So users are rightly pissed off.

At some point TNY has to decide if users or advertisers are more important. I don't think you can have it both ways.
