The other questions are how much is TiO2, the precursor for Ti powder and how much does it cost to process? The spot price in China is 18066 RMB per ton which corresponds to AUD$3637.15 per ton or $3.64 per kg. The production costs for Ti powder are unknown to us, but the the Ziron/ASM process has been reported to be more energy efficient (50% better if I recall correctly), so presumably the margin will be better compared to other producers.
