new to these forums so ignore any ill-informed rants but irresepctive of the 60mins report I believe this announcement is very positive - I think the world knows that 3D printing of all sorts of stuff is here to stay and will only improve over time - we are in the age of mass customisation and simple practicalities of materials/resource shortages and storage for very large catalogues of parts for all sorts of equipment, vehicles etc. means we are all inevitably forced to look at these technologies and solutions
