I wouldn't say that, there was some buy movement today.
but yes I think with these 'D' lettered systems it will be more a case of selling lots of machines than much fewer big ones.
Which is OK both will have their use cases, it's usually a good thing to have products at both the low end and top end (low end being cheap in price not lack of quality)
