On one video the Titomic CEO Jeff Lang explains in some cases a Billet Block of Titanium weighing 800 kilos is used to mechine a part , with its finished weight about 100 kilos.

So they had to machine off 700 kilos , and all that off cuts cant be used to make billet block again

So if Titomic can Print the shape about 10% over sized or say 110 kilos.

Instead of them having to machine off 700 Kilos, they may only need to machine off 10 kilos in order to finish the part.

So it would save days in machining time per part.
