Yes it will definitely be interesting to be able to compare the 2 with "like for like" specifications. I guess regardless of what TTT's CEO said, TAUV spoke with their feet and walked away suggesting further development of the technology by TTT was required.
Anyhow, the world is a big place and AL3 may have won the contract TTT had but i am sure TTT will win contracts AL3 would have liked to have got and vice versa. Plenty room for both and i wish TTT all the best. If the sector warms up by multiple 3D welding companies kicking goals then its good for all.
I do note that AL3 has a "dual robot welding" option and also "modular expansion" option that allows the user to extend the build area length wise to the size they require.
