They come with risk. Though, the SBC and Magnis story is nothing like Tivan.
SBC and Magnis banked on massive revenue in the short term. Hence the huge loan. Turns out the entire Gigafactory was faulty and 6 months later still no revenue. Now essentially in liquidation.
I'll back Grant and Deputy RBA on the suitability of a convert at this time.
