This is written on the fly - all mistakes are mine - please watch the replay later!
Paraphrasing:
Vanadium long-term aim , not viable as stand-alone project.
Concentrating on CaF2 at Speewah:
China now net CaF2 importer.
Market for CaF2 is EV batteries and semi-conductors.
Non-Arsenic CaF2 prices show low volatility PA - approx $700USD per tonne.
Project is viable at current prices. GW thinks Speewah CaF2 is the only viable critical mineral project under development in Australia right now out of the 50 being planned.
Grant reads HotCopper!!
Projected Production Target Jan 2027.
Stage 1 resource expansion drilling scheduled for August 2024
GW: - Speewah is a 'Top 3 CaF2 low arsenic resource in the world'
PFS Engineering Design completed by Lycopodium & Tivan (3D image available)
Ord River Hydro via Pacific Hydro and Horizon to power (some of - unclear) Speewah using existing Argyle Diamond Framework.
? Project involving El Questro and WA Govt (to be revealed)
GW Presented Sumitomo Slide:
Tivan pivoted from V to CaF2 and presented to 3 Japanese Companies.
GW's decision to go with Sumitomo.
Working towards binding JV - Japanese delegation to visit Speewah (date confidential).
GW - 'I have admired Sumitomo for a long time'.
Then into Q & A - probably best to watch yourself as GW was very quick.
Sandover - will focus on Lead and Silver using CaF2 funds (paraphrasing)
Vanadium - 'striving to reach acceptable electrolyte concentrate used by Sumitomo'
Sceptical re: Current Vanadium demand and price hence pivot to CaF2. Battery growth all China based. Will review, but CaF2 is the primary and currently only goal atm (paraphrasing)
Speewah: - CaF2 viable now that CaF2 is NOW a critical mineral (paraphrasing) - not before when it wasn't on Govt list - assuming referencing new grant options by being on critical minerals list (my emphasis)
Other funding: Critical Minerals Grant is "Tailor Made" for Tivan.
GW: "I have a good relationship with Madeline King".
GW: - "Strong Korean interest in Tivan" - mentioned Lead and Silver.
Tivan - 'now hiring new staff in next quarter' - from GW
Grant was really really quick with the Q&A section - sorry.
Please watch the replay as I was writing on the fly - GW was quite verbose on some things, not so on others. All errors are mine and mine alone.
Cheers
