Yes it was Liz Trevakis - it was her birthday today.

Interview was about the Senate enquiry announcement on MASDP - said local political leaders were invited on but they politely declined so Liz interviewed Grant, member of a Darwin fishing organization & someone representing Larrakia indigenous group.

The short version - Grant went first - local members from both parties have questioned the need for a public inquiry, Grant supports it.

So did the anglers group rep. The rep from Larrakia said it was 3 for 3 to support the inquiry.

None of them were negative on the development, only wanting to be informed & consulted. In fact they were very supportive of the idea of precinct development level over sporadic, individual players doing their own thing.

Worth a listen. I even learnt about something Australia is planning with NASA.
