I would have been happy with $1M given the lack of a discount and SP trading above issue price during the offer. I'm pretty sure that's around what they raised for the last SPP issued at a discount.
The attached free options was a great incentive and for me made the offer equivalent to offering a good discount, but this may not have been understood by all investors.
With upcoming news flow I hope and expect these retail shareholders to be well rewarded!
