While prospecting the Southern Sandover tenements we located a large area of gold anomalism associated with Magnetite. We suspected it had something to do with a discrete bullseye mag anomaly to the East of the road. As I previously mentioned there is a distinct possibility of IOCG mineralisation. There are massive amounts of pegmatites through out the EL's however the country here has virtually no outcrop to sample but the best thing is that the cover is in most places less than a metre making vacuum drilling or auger drilling S/easy and cheap.
It would be well worthwhile checking out the Eastern Sandover tenements for Uranium as well as heavy minerals. Regards to All Norm
