Maybe failed to excite because they didn't announce the results of testing. Have a look at the veiners like bbr and mrf. When they announced graphene they also included test results from Raman spectroscopy. Doesn't have to be Raman - but they should have given us some specific results from any form of electrochemical testing imo.
