FYI, TMT shares will stop trading at market close next Monday 22nd and new AVL shares are only scheduled to commence trading Fri 2nd February. I don't expect TMT holders to dump their AVL shares. They have had plenty of time to get out if they didn't want to part of the merged entity. Lets all hope we start seeing really positive news flow from 2nd February onwards.

Did they though? Ave price for the period since the merger was announced was 26c or under - in fact 90% of the time it was around 22c - 23c

Based on chats to quite a few TMT holders, I suspect most have an average of between 28c - 32c.

There simply hasn't been an opportunity to exit with anything else except a 15 - 20% loss at best.

At 2.2c AVL is 'valued' at 31c (approx) - I would be very surprised if quite a few TMT holders aren't hoping for Feb 2nd to open at an AVL price of 2.2c+ to exit at breakeven - an option that hasn't been extended to them via the low TMT SP.

I most certainly had a figure in mind, but if it even gets close to it, I will be giving serious thought to cutting out sooner.

It all depends on the Q4 2023 report, a size of board reduction, EPA and NT permitting updates, as to when I make the call to stay or go.

I agree with the poster above - a period of 9 days where my $$ is inaccessible is worrying, especially when trading halts for consolidation or god forbid another CR, can be announced before the 'new' AVL even trades.

I understand why AVL needs to stay trading, but 9 days seems like a very long time.

Is this the normal length - my first time being on the 'taken over' companies side.

It will be a fascinating watch for sure, but I'm leaning very heavily towards a huge volume and a marked SP downturn on Feb 2nd.

We can only watch from the sidelines and cross our fingers mate I guess.
