The author did not explain, however that most of the 16.9% who indicated they intended to vote no did so before relevant information in SOA booklet had been published and that these votes - so far - are informal.

To me this is a very clear acknowledgement that the kickback against the terms of the merger has been ‘registered’

Hopefully this .will calm the negativity that’s howling through these threads whilst we await future news!

I believe it is now accepted by the AVL BoD that an increased offer will be required if they want this deal to pass. Whether that follows is the unknown but I if I were a betting man I suspect it will.
