I don’t agree AVL is a dud, I think they have assembled a great new team here and there is strong political support and maybe more to go with a solid resource.

But plus three billion new shares are being manufactured out of the ‘ether’ and going live on Monday week means the next five trading days will present some opportunities for big players to set up the price here so as to extract maximum benefit from any ex TMT holders who retain a “we loathe AVL” mindset I guess Ian and decide to dump their shares.

Last Tuesday there was just around 26million shares on loan for short selling - only about half a percent of the (current) AVL total: https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=Avl
… But that’s still around three days worth of the last few daily trading volumes ..

If the price drops further and short figures go up it might be a useful indicator of what the market is expecting on Monday week?
