Yes, you are kind of correct...except that I very much doubt anybody on this forum would have any clue whatsoever on how to successfully put a project together..Thtat aside, the more sensible, second part of your response is exactly what Bevan Jones stated at the Melbourne Resources conference on 5/9/24
Trying to recall his words. I believe it was something like...' our share price is at these levels because no-one has seen any concrete delivery yet" or something along those lines. I guess that harks back to the Marty Costello management? Can only make assumptions.
Ian McAleese and Bevan Jones and other senior staff they have recruited are a completely different kettle of fish.
If you believe TNC is rubbish then I suggest you sell b/c it will be January 2025 before the quarterly report begins to show appreciable income increase.
The 3rd quarter report , end of October, won't be much bigger than the 2nd quarter because there is not yet Silphide ore going to Glencore.
In the 4th quarter there will be ore going to both the heap leach plant at Cloncurry and ore for crushing going to Mt Isa to Glencore. Note though that there will still need to be a ramp up. No one (idiot or not) can go from ZERO to 100kT ore mined in a matter of weeks...not you and not Marty Costello.
To all the genuine investors in TNC...In my opinion we have exactly the correct management working for us. There will be a sensible and steady development of their assets. Just my view though.
What I think is our biggest threat is 1. The $AUD / $USD exchange rate ( if USA drops interest rates and ouirs stay high) and 2. The price of Copper in international markets. ( on this though, I recently read that both Au and Ag are and will continue to be inshort supply c.f demand. Both are expected to hold and/or increase on current traded prices. TNC has some of both.
