I am not sure whether investors are currently not trusting CURRENT management...it has just about completely changed.
There has been some bad press in the AFR about the Cu price andsome companies like SFR having AISC costs above the current Cu price.
Prices quoted in AFR were in lb (pounds). TNC has contracts in Tons (1000 kg) there are 2.2 lb in each ton. I expect people do not actually do the conversions and the numbers.
TNC originally was slated to spin of $111 M free cash over 4.6 years at: Cu price of $8500 USD / ton and an exchange rate of $0.70 AUD to $1.00 USD.
Even at these "depressed" copper prices...if you bother to convert the current LME Copper price and divide by sy..$0.66 AUD to $1.00 USD there will be HEAPS of free cash flow....as TNC says at current prices $200 M over 4 years.
On top of that, there are analysts predicting USD $10000 per ton in the next few years.
We are not there yet but I firmly believe over the coming6 months we will see Cu production ramp up....that will be reflected in income (quarterly reports) .
As a result, this time next year the share price should look very different ( I hope....I have a sh.t load invested here)
