The bio-methane feedstock that HZR uses comes from wastewater treatment the feedstock is usually flared, so they are cleaning up a dirty process by producing hydrogen and capturing the carbon as synthetic graphite. So in fact the process becomes carbon negative.

I am wondering whether SMS has had a close look at what HZR is doing and have decided not to go up against a technology that is more advanced toward commercialisation but similar to their own tech.

SMS and TNG will be partnering in wastewater treatment tech for the refinery wherever it will be, it will produce bio-methane the feedstock that HZR requires.

Perhaps TNG will be become a turquoise hydrogen producer as well as a green hydrogen producer but with different partners?
