Read through the ASX Ann 17th Oct which is his employment services agreement.
Interesting line in there that if there is "Change in Control at TNG during the agreement" Then the $508k loan will be forgiven. This was under a Conditional Waiver which needed shareholder approval which was carried that November. So this definitely was not required to be paid back it seems.
