I too understand that users of TIVAN will benefit greatly, and it is to the old BOD's discredit that we don't know exactly by how much.
However the main point that I was making was that SH (or rather their shares) bear ultimate responsibility for the nation's losses.
Why emphasise this point ? (there is already enough embarrassment in plain sight).
You see, there are quite a few ASX listed companies with selfish self-centered BODs. Every time a SH is too busy to vote his shares, or gives the unrepentant another try, they actually contribute to this state of affairs.
Thankfully on-line voting is beginning to change this.
