I was in Hawaii in the late 70,s and went to pearl harbour for the tour , I wasn’t allowed on because I had shorts and a thongs on and was told it showed disrespect to the servicemen who died there . Funny thing was the que to go on the tour were mainly Japanese.
We certainly know how to make convoluted rules and regulations regarding our countries.
