@ando1/others It would be great if these batteries were VRFB's (an Aussie invention), but for ease of install and maintenance will probably be Li-ion.
Would like to see our nearsighted pollies get behind an electrolyte facility in the top end to supply local and Asia. Gov grant or NAIF?
I understand everyone's criticism (as a LTSH), but currently VRFB's are the best for renewables/micro/grid storage and it would not be good business for TNG to ignore this 'value-adding' burgeoning opportunity.
