The ilmenite that is locked into the exsolution features within the magnetite is unrecoverable by conventional processes, however Balla contains abundant free ilmenite that can be recovered by float, especially in the hamginwall unit. Tivan might be necessary for very low grade magnetite **bros like TNG, but remember that one only needs to process one sixth the tonnage of material at Balla to achieve the same amount of vanadium to con. It’s more than double the grade and around three times the magnetic mass yield. It was the one of the least “doggie” of any of the v deposits I was asked to do due diligence on.
