Just to add to that - one analogy may be that TIVAN is like a very complex recipe requiring special ingredients, cooking equipment, different preparation methods, cooking times & temperatures THEN the order & quantity of combining, reducing, seasoning, chilling or heating needs to be carefully controlled. It's like creating the 105 step lamington - plenty may try to imitate, but without the Exact recipe will they get it right.
As far as copying the IP, I suspect the BOOT model protects that. If TIVAN is only offered under a 'we build it, own it, operate it, turn it over' model, all the end user would really need to know is how to hook up utilities & where to bring the conceñtrate, where to pick up the finished product. . . Not what happens inside the lamington factory.
