At the risk of being a dampener on this, there are a few stats that I am abit concerned about.
1. The presentation references Lithium as being about 110 Whr/kg? The current disclosed Tesla figures are around 300 whr/kg I believe.
2. The cost per kWh is shown as 700 to 900 Euro? Current Tesla battery packs production costs are under USD$100 per kWh with a stated aim of getting under $50 in the next year or so (Tesla time though).
The release also includes this statement;
IKTS has estimated that the total cost of production for CERENERGY® batteries will be 40%-50% cheaper than lithium-ion batteries.
I'm struggling to reconcile this statement with what I believe are current industry standards.
