I'm an amateur/newby investor and second time poster, I really, really hope the announcement is positive for the SP but even if not, im sure most who bought in knew this is surely a long term holding rather than just a smash and grab type investment (although if you got in at the 0.007 prices big time you'd be happier than a pig in mud with any increase :P).
