Anti, whilst I agree with most of what you say, try to keep an open mind about the 5Mt option as a 'starter'.
The inherent reason for looking at 5Mt is not because it is likely to make the most sense over the long term, but... instead a way to get the project built and then allow a staggered upscaling of the throughput.... 5Mt, then 7.5, 10 etc over a number of years. This hopefully has many benefits as it gives ALK more flexibility in negotiations with potential J/V partners (opens the door to more entities that might be interested too).

Good to have you back aboard @Joelstar - I imagine you are just nibbling at this stage, as this quarter's production is still up in the air....

Not sure I have been in a stock like ALK for quite a while, that tests my patience so much
