clear communication is what matters. updated guidance with lower number would have caused fall in the SP but would have keep lot of investors confident they can rely on the MD and the BoDs to inform them on time.
admitting the production is at risk during a random interview is not what professional and experienced MD would do. investors simply lose confidence in the leadership.
no one is saying they are not trying everything they can do hit the target. I am sure they do but that's not the point here.
