ok got it... there was nothing for Nic to respond to. The interviewer is speculating and Nic is not participating which is about right. I don't think the interviewer brought this number because Nic probably mentioned such number off-air though.
It appears the interviewer came up with this by assuming as Nic threw fair bit of doubt about hitting the target earlier in the interview.
That is how he comes across to me anyway.

The big bit is that Nic dropped the news that they struggle with the production and they are about 4-6 weeks behind and casted clear doubt if they hit the lower end of the target.
Based on that I think ALK would have done lot better job if they issued new range... ~57Koz - ~62Koz or 55Koz - 62Koz and explain why this is the new range - be clear what challenges they experienced and what steps are being taken to mitigate..

but as with everything they don't communicate clearly.
