I hold ALK and AGS, and was an earlier holder of ORS and CTL, all of whom have sighificant names in common. Very different beasts, but the same trainers/owners, with the same golden aspirations. ..... Plus, I suspect, similar strategies to those used in the past.
I don’t find it difficult to imagine a scenario like the one MrTop5 suggested last month. .. Geographically it doesn’t seem to make sense, but the nexus, need and the names in common are all there. For me a merger is much better than privatisation .. be it with AGS or whomever. ... I’m just hoping the Dubbo Project won’t prove to be the white elephant that Maldon was for AGS. .. I don’t think it will, but unfortunately, “thinking doesn’t make it so“
