Because MNC have so many prospective sights to drill but no money to drill it.
Our new partners have the money (backer themselves with their own cash) plus have stable cornerstone investors such as Sandfire.
PLUS post amalgamation, MNC will have a new board, more experience and a huge swathe of land to explore and the money to do it.
So the potential to sure up some gold and be taken over by a big fish is now greater than it was 12 months ago.
