From what I've seen of charts 50% is a classical fibonnachi level and almost typical for a retrace after a move up. Usually if it hasnt retraced to at least 38% or 50% then that is when you need to worry. I'm only speaking from my experience but the best time to buy is on that 50% retracement. I cant tell you the number of times I have done the opposite and bought on the peak only to watch it retrace. I find the whole timing thing very challenging as we need to buy when others are selling and sell when others are buying. Sounds simple but it is hard when sp is rocketing up or falling to do the opposite of what seems logical.
