Hi Dosdogs, thanks. I can't tell you much about the recent developments - they seem to have happened very fast with little, if any, insight given into the efficacy/toxicity conundrum. Not surprising perhaps, because the phased trials are meant to answer those questions.
The concerns I expressed in my earlier comments, really relate to how things were handled in the initial, post IPA stages, leading up to the aborted FDA application. I personally, have never been satisfied with the explanation given in this regard. The jumps from targeting bacteria, to viruses and back to bacteria, I also find unsettling - medicine at this level is not something that evolves in weeks, or months.
There are many questions yet to be answered and perhaps some of them will be, in the months to follow. Good luck.
