If any of what you say is true then reputationally the CEO’s career is over. He has presided over two scientific failures which isn’t a good look. If what you say is true he has made a lot of peopke unhappy in the investment community- sophisticated investors, institutions & mugs like me. The ASX investment community is very small and your assertion is that he has led the con job. I’m not overly convinced of that but you maybe right.
The success or failure of the company was never going to be down to him. He was hoping to freeload at the backend of the hard yards with bonuses & oppies - undeserved for certain. He schmoozed the market for all he was worth. However the calibre of any CEO is how they deal with adversity. If he stays the distance, restructures, cuts costs, fronts the shareholders ( bs JustStocks videos don’t count) & does some hard yards he may gain respect. If he turns tail and bails to another gig - that will tell another tale.
