Didn't see that one coming.
But hey, the thing i hate about crypto is that it's not representative of anything in value other than itself - it's a market set price based on nothing.
A gold backed crypto overcomes all of that - and may well be the future. It's actually going to be backed by a tangible asset. It seems that Torian is not locked in until all this happens and they seems to be making $ if it goes ahead.
