re: Ann: Toro Energy Announces Share Purchase... brightspark & shatru, to me long term investors are those that have been holding for a least 5 years. So as a long term investor and having bought shares for 50c in the past, 8c is a great deal. I'm not whinging about the fact the price has fallen over the past 5 years, as that is what happens when you have are trying to develop a mine in a country that has all the political and environmental spin that goes with Uranium that are put up against you. If we were in Africa, it would have been done in 3 years, and they'd probably be spewing all the byproduct into the local river. They've also had the Fukishima accident, as well as the Greens & Get-Up brigade to contend with. So I say they should be congratulated for getting it this far.

Regarding the price....yes it has fallen, which as I said is understandable, but I have participate in all the CR's along the way, and I will again at 8c. This has not been a bubble stock since early 2007 and if you think it is ever going to be again then you're mistaken. It is a long-term stock with long-term upside.

The fact you think they shouldn't be doing a CR as they have lots of cash already, right when they are supposedly doing a deal with large investors, just seems like a big hint to me that they are most likely giving the shareholders a last opportunity before mining approval.
