Still awaiting Judge Sydney Tilmouth's judgement to be released to the public, but there was a snippet in :-

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/01/18/3115110.htm?section=justin

To quote :- "The Kokatha Uwankara people are citing sacred significance ... and much of the evidence given by the native title claimants was highly sensitive and confidential and involved sacred ties to the land where traditional "Men's Business" was conducted."

I must admit, this reminded me of South Australia's Hindmarsh Island Bridge Royal Commission of 1995, which determined that the "Secret Women's Business" was all made up, and resulted in a go-ahead being given by the Howard Government to allow the building of the bridge linking Hindmarsh Island to the mainland.

And it is interesting to note that in that very Royal Commission, it was Judge Sydney Tilmouth who also represented Ngarrindjeri woman Doreen Kartinyeri - the main advocate of the "Secret Women's Business".

    Refer to http://netk.net.au/SA/SA6.asp

Anyway, I don't think we are going to get a Royal Commission to determine whether SRL/ARE are allowed to drill a dozen holes in a dry lake!

But interesting times ahead in anticipation of an Appeal and/or Ministerial Response!
